Dream come true!!
ok, so my 8th grade language arts teacher, Mrs Hillary, had given me this flyer on a student poetry contest hosted by the america library of poetry. she said she wanted me to give it a try. well, this was a couple months ago, and I just recieved word today that the ALOP wants to publish my poem " like an eagle " in their newest book titled " brilliance " coming out in the fall. I couldnt breathe, and I wanted to share this experience with you guys. The contest results will be announced September 30, and then I'll find out if i recieved editors choice or 1st place and and so on... But, I will happily dedicate this post to Mrs. Hillary, who I owe my VERY 1ST PUBLICATION to. Thank you so much...
