elementary 101!
so today, I was literaly sitting at home and playing basketball as I watched the brandon high sross country team run by. I came inside to cool off, and i recieved a text from my best friend mikela saying " OMG Mrs. Shettle is here!!" She ended up telling me it was game night, and that a lot of my elementary teachers were there. I couldnt resist but to ride my bike there. It may have taken me quite a while, not to mention I felt like I was roasting in an oven, but I made it. The first teacher i saw : Mrs. Shettle; 4th grade reading and writing class. Now this is the cool part: She saw me, and her mouth dropped about 3 inches. I'm not exxagerating. She flipped out. She put her hands on my cheeks and hugged me. " My 6 girl! I could never forget you!" She told mikela and I how she remembered all of our scores, and just the thought of such a caring teacher almost put me to tears. I loved Mrs. Shettle, and these past few years were scary because she had cancer I think, and we werent sure if she was going to make it. But now, she's up and running as a teacher again. Also tonight, I encountered Mrs. Johnson: 3rd grade science and mathematics, and Mrs. Holloman: 4th grade science and mathematics. I got lots of hugs. I also saw my old media specialist, allthough i never actually talked to her. And I saw my old assistant principal, who is now the head honcho himself. Go Mr. Shields!!! For the majority of the night, however, Mikela and I hung out with a friend of ours from Brandon High school. Zach Barnes. he was soooo flippin funny that I almost died from laughing. I almost choked on what i was eating. Zach is hilarious............... So tonite was awesome!! Much Much MUCH better that sitting alone at the house waiting for my mom to get off of work. Cant wait to see what the weekend brings!! :)

Filling you in...
who am i cheering for? ( bucs, raiders, or eagles?) eagles babyyy!!!!So my first week of high school has already passed! For the most part, everything seems easy so far, even my AP human Geography. But oh lord, that class is till going to annoy me, even though its an AWESOME class. Theres a student that wont shut up. GRRRR.... Lets see, hope is pretty cool. My uniform looks like balloon shorts, but oh well. mean teacher, though. My english teacher seems a bit loony, and we havnt done anything in class except ramble on about the future and the current new district policy for keeping the air ant 78 degrees or higher. I'm burning up! Spanish.... spanish is a BLAST. The teacher is a complete nut, but acts like a student. she does silly dares and calls us some, uh, "names" in spanish that she uses to mess aroud with. All the sophomores and juniors in class love making fun of her and the spanish language in general. AP is a blast, except for that one student. Gemometry; most laid back and nicest teacher i have ever met. besides Mrs. Elliott and Mrs. Hillary. lunch is sooo crowded,i refuse to buy it anymore. instead, i bring my own lunch, put it in my locker in the morning, and take it out for lunch later. In reading, the teacher is my least favorite i think. And whenever i walk into the room, i get a painful headache. the wierd thing is, EVERY SINGLE STUDENT in that class says that. Its really bizzare. On the bright side, I have learned some really upper level vocabulary. Thats the only positive thing about my 7th period reading class. And for biology, i hate it. I hate who i sit next to, the class is loud and rude, and i think my teacher is paranoid. Not to mention taht i have to dissect a fetal pig and study live earthworm behavior. Outside of school, I have been keeping up with my volunteer hours and doing homework each night. My biggest habit change from middle school is that I try to complete every assignment as early as possible. For example, I have notes due in two weeks, I already have 3/5 of it done now. Lets see, my sister is checking out this new house that her and her boyfriend might be moving into, and I'm also playing basketball every day after school. I think that in my sophomore year I want to try out for the team. Ive been babysitting A LOT. Whoaa, I'm a busy bee. But the terrible thing is, Ive only been getting about 5 hours of sleep a night. Getting up so early is a hard routing to fall into, considering the fact that i dont go to bed until around 1 in the morning. Just think of when the actual school activities start, such as football games, etc. I will be sleeping as I'm walking home each day. But all in all, I think the next 4 years ahead of me are going to be one of the most exciting times of my life. And I'm really happy that my freshmen year has finally started.

First day Freshman!!!
After 8 years of grade school and ready to become a freshman, the day arrived when i started high school! I really couldnt sleep at all the night before, and I think i was up till about 2:30 or 3:00. When 6:00 rolled around, I finally woke up and got ready for the best 4 years of my life!
Jordans mom dropped her off, and we started walking since i live right across the street. The neighbor flashed a friendly smile as he prepared for his junior year. Walking on campus was HECTIC. Cars were everywhere, and Jordan and I went through the side. Manouvering along the sidewalk, intimidated by all the upperclassmen, I just kept a steady pace and braced myself. Walking into the cafeteria, I was hounded by like, 5 sophomores who I knew from Mann. I recieved lots of hugs and " OMG I missed you; I havnt seen you in forever." After my little reunion, my friends and I met up somewhere close to the back. soon, it was time to start this new milestone in my life. Homeroom bored me to tears, and when the bell sounded, i thought it was some kind of car beeping. What a wierd bell! Mann's was a lot more distinguished. So i proceeded throughout the day. Now im going to touch the interesting parts. I walked into my Spanish class, took the first seat i saw, and was surprised to see ALL upperclassmen walking through the door. I went up to Mrs. Blankenship, told her my dilemma, and she said that i was in the right class. " We are all loved in the Spanish world!" she practically sang to me. So, in short, the majority of my 3rd period spanish class are probably juniors. Lunch was even more crazy. people everywhere!!! We dont have to stay in our seats like at Mann, and the lunch lines were so busy that I just totally skipped lunch. I wasnt messin' with all that. My classes seem really fun and challenging, especially AP human Geography. Mr. Johnson is my only guy teacher. When the final bell rang, I hovered over my locker and retrieved a few notebooks and a textbook that I had stuffed in there earlier. It was such a drag that school was cancelled the next day, and to think that Fay neber even hit us!!! Hmmph. Anyways, my first day of high school was crazy, yet awesome. But I can safely say that more than half of my teachers are complete lunatics. Mrs. Blankenship is even crazier than Mr. Borden was!!! She was " loco in the cabesa " I got the shivers. So yeah! Thats my newest update, and we'll see what tomorrow brings! :)
Oh wait I forgot to tell you that when i was on my way to the commons, heading for biology 1 honors, I suddenly recieved a smack in the forehead. That scared the begeezees out of me!!! And who else would that be? Lloyd, my dirty, good for nothin, rotten step brother; in his sophomore year. Geesh. The audacity of some upperclassmen!!!

Poem for Mrs. Hillary

Bedtime story
silece echoes throughout every hallway,-
every room, and she sleeps peacefully.
Angel nestled in between blankets and bedsheets,
vibrant and glowing, as she dreams the sweetest of dreams.
A distant sound, soft, but just loud enough-
to wake the precious sleeper.
A moment's hesitation,
but cured with the gentle touch of her mothers arms.
And she drifts back into unawareness,
swept away by the gentle rocking and cooing
from a voice so familiar, so fond of.
There is no greater bond.

Guys I seriously need your help
ok, I think i cleared the air when i told u guys that the dude who called me was some random guy that wanted me to sing my jonas brothers song. tonight, I went to go check the account again and see if i had any more mysterious voice messages. well, I have 3, and my thoughts on them are all jumbled up. the guys name is chris, so he says. he also says he is a big friend of the jonas brothers and when they come to LA he goes on tour with them and that he also went with them to the jay leno show. he gave me other details, but the messages are hard to understand. however, he said he likes the song and that i have a flawless voice. he saved my message that i sent back to him a week ago, and he also says he will be sure to send the jonas brothers my song. so, this could be either good news that something AMAZING is happening here, or that I am being stalked. lol.
So here's where your help comes in.
I am specifically directing this to anyone tht has any insight on what is going on.
( dad, Mrs. Hillary...)

the call that changed everything
before i begin, i just want to say that God is always there to back you up. All your dreams, your hopes; god is standing with you on them. And all we can do is go along with them to make him proud, and thank him with all of our hearts.
You guys know that we have written a song for the jonas brothers. actually, half of a song. but never in my wildest dreams have i believed that they would return my call. about 2 hours aho, I left another voice message telling them that half of the song has been written, and if they choose to critique it, to just call me. 10 minutes later, i recieved a text from the fan line telling me to register at saynow.com to hear their response. after registering, i heard it. and cried.
they wanted me to sing it for them! and i think it was either joe or kevin that answered. im betting on kevin, the oldest. but what i know for sure is that it actually WAS them. And all these past nights of praying before going to bed and including my hopes for this song, god has given it to me.
So i responded. I sang the song, and gave them all the details. God cant grant us all of our wishes; but if this was meant to be, then it will. my prayers are an even bigger part of me now, and I ask that everyone that would like to see this follow through will prey with me. And God bless the jonas brothers, for returning their gratitude. I know that they will do anything to make their fans happy.

jumble of random updates
so... this is another random post on what ive been up to lately....
Ive been school shopping and getting all of my new clothes together and also my supplies. school cant come any slower! I need it to be here!!! I am definitely looking forward to becoming a freshman, but I'm worried about finding my way because that school seemed huge compared to Mann!! Also, My friends and I have been writing our jonas brothers song. and get this, the last time i saw them, we only came up with ONE line. And now, only 3 days later, I've only been able to add 3 more.
so, after 4 days, we have one verse written. such slow progress!! Every day I am expecting to hear something about baby hillary, and I cant wait to see her first picture! I remember when she used to be, uh, i think it was a cashew? peanut? well, some kind of nut. and every 4 days or so I check up on my so called " mama" ( my sixth grade teacher mrs elliott) to make sure she is feeling ok. I get really concerned about her. she's preggo too!!!bowlings getting really good; I feel like im becoming a pro! and the fourth book to the twilight saga, breaking dawn, is finally out! I HAD to get the book at midnight. and so far, the book is fulfilling all of my high standards and expectations. as a " writer " I would say stephanie meyer is my literary idol. so, thats it... kinda dull lately, allthough i am going to the mall with my 3 best friends this evening. hope to run into a familiar face!!
