After 8 years of grade school and ready to become a freshman, the day arrived when i started high school! I really couldnt sleep at all the night before, and I think i was up till about 2:30 or 3:00. When 6:00 rolled around, I finally woke up and got ready for the best 4 years of my life!
Jordans mom dropped her off, and we started walking since i live right across the street. The neighbor flashed a friendly smile as he prepared for his junior year. Walking on campus was HECTIC. Cars were everywhere, and Jordan and I went through the side. Manouvering along the sidewalk, intimidated by all the upperclassmen, I just kept a steady pace and braced myself. Walking into the cafeteria, I was hounded by like, 5 sophomores who I knew from Mann. I recieved lots of hugs and " OMG I missed you; I havnt seen you in forever." After my little reunion, my friends and I met up somewhere close to the back. soon, it was time to start this new milestone in my life. Homeroom bored me to tears, and when the bell sounded, i thought it was some kind of car beeping. What a wierd bell! Mann's was a lot more distinguished. So i proceeded throughout the day. Now im going to touch the interesting parts. I walked into my Spanish class, took the first seat i saw, and was surprised to see ALL upperclassmen walking through the door. I went up to Mrs. Blankenship, told her my dilemma, and she said that i was in the right class. " We are all loved in the Spanish world!" she practically sang to me. So, in short, the majority of my 3rd period spanish class are probably juniors. Lunch was even more crazy. people everywhere!!! We dont have to stay in our seats like at Mann, and the lunch lines were so busy that I just totally skipped lunch. I wasnt messin' with all that. My classes seem really fun and challenging, especially AP human Geography. Mr. Johnson is my only guy teacher. When the final bell rang, I hovered over my locker and retrieved a few notebooks and a textbook that I had stuffed in there earlier. It was such a drag that school was cancelled the next day, and to think that Fay neber even hit us!!! Hmmph. Anyways, my first day of high school was crazy, yet awesome. But I can safely say that more than half of my teachers are complete lunatics. Mrs. Blankenship is even crazier than Mr. Borden was!!! She was " loco in the cabesa " I got the shivers. So yeah! Thats my newest update, and we'll see what tomorrow brings! :)
Oh wait I forgot to tell you that when i was on my way to the commons, heading for biology 1 honors, I suddenly recieved a smack in the forehead. That scared the begeezees out of me!!! And who else would that be? Lloyd, my dirty, good for nothin, rotten step brother; in his sophomore year. Geesh. The audacity of some upperclassmen!!!
